Accounts Assistant, highly successful local business

Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful local business who are now looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team due to continued growth. This will be a busy role and will suit a candidate with previous Accounts experience
Your new role
You will be responsible for the site Accounts administration to include; Maintaining Purchase and Sales ledgers and all relating documentation, preparing bank lodgements, reconciling Statements, dealing with supplier queries, preparing monthly reports for senior management and shareholders and assisting with payroll. You will also other ad hoc administration duties as and when required
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar role and have a good standard of systems experience. A qualification in bookkeeping and accounts is desirable however not essential. A previous working knowledge of SAGE would be preferable
