My client, a specialist manufacturing firm based in Co. Fermanagh, is recruiting for a Health Safety & Environment Manager on a full-time, permanent contract.
Your new role
The HSE Manager will be responsible for overseeing Health & Safety activities across the site to meet internal and external standards. You will develop, manage and improve HSE processes with the emphasis on continuous improvement, accident prevention and environmental impact to meet the needs of the business. The HSE Manager will deliver training to support the needs of the business and its stakeholders. You will manage the HSE strategy to meet specific objectives, and KPI's on behalf of the company. The Health Safety & Environment Manager will promote a culture of Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Continuous Improvement across the site and uphold the company values on a daily basis.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role of Health Safety & Environment Manager you must have at least 2-3 years' previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing or production. You will have a NEBOSH certificate plus a recognised Environmental qualification and be capable of managing HSE systems and audit of management standards, such as; ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and BRC.
