MCS Group is recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a successful software firm helping customers digitise and automate business processes where you will play a key role in customer acquisition and driving revenue in key markets.
You will be joining a prosperous business that is enjoying a period of sustained growth across multiple markets with particular success in North America and Benelux as well as UK/Ireland . The firm has developed a software solution that integrates with the Microsoft platform, helping customers to digitise and automate business processes with minimal effort.

While the office is located in Dublin and there will a requirement for you to be there some of the time, the role will be suited to someone who can work from home. - Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Perform effective online demos to prospects, bringing pre-sales teams in where required
We are looking for an experienced software sales professional with a proven track record in developing qualified leads and closing sales deals. You should be experienced in software solutions best practice and industry trends as well as having a good level of technical proficiency that allows you to engage with technical stakeholders comfortably.
Timing is excellent as the business has seen a sustained level of increased demand as the investment in marketing is paying dividends. The successful candidate can expect a healthy base salary and uncapped bonus with ote projected as circa £80k+.
