Our client is looking for a HR officer to join their growing team. Reporting to the Group HR Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious HR professional to build on their generalist experience. The successful candidate will provide a broad range of support to one or more business group.
The key aim of this role is to drive success by ensuring the wellbeing, training & development and performance of the current team. The post holder will need to be familiar with and have experience in recruitment, retention, training & development and employee engagement.
Drawing up job descriptions/advertisements
Lead the recruitment process
Develop an appropriate induction process
Manage salaries, contracts and redundancy package
Training and development –
Ensuring the appropriate training and coaching is available
Monitor the effectiveness of training provided
Health and wellbeing -
Put practices in place to ensure the emotional and physical wellbeing of employees is optimum
Liaising with Health and Safely manager to ensure compliance
Ensuring there is an adequate performance management system in place
Promote and extoll the values of the company
Ensure all HR policies are regularly reviewed
Advise on employee law and compliance
· Third level qualification in a relevant field
· 3+ year’ experience in a similar role
· Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and credibility with individuals of all levels
· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under strict time constraints.
