HR Generalist (Part-Time) - Craigavon Area - Manufacturing
MCS Group is delighted to be representing an expanding, manufacturing client based in the Craigavon area, currently seeking a HR Generalist on a permanent, part-time basis.
This is a standalone role reporting to the company MD, working closely with a range of stakeholders to develop and agree HR plans and then embed it into their creative and ambitious culture.
The HR Manager will be expected to fulfil a full remit of HR responsibilities and will need to have good generalist and hands on experience across employee relations, performance management, reward, recruitment & selection, as well as training & development. This is a stand-alone role, therefore the successful candidate will be expected to fulfil lower level administration as well when required.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain company policy and procedures, as well as conduct investigations, disciplinaries and grievances with the relevant department manager and prepare letters accordingly. The successful candidates will be involved in a number of key projects across the organisation, including various business improvement initiatives, contribution too improved staff retention, talent attraction and employee engagement.
Stakeholder engagement is key, ensuring there is clear communication across a busy business. The HR professional will take the lead on this, ensuring there is consistent communication across all departments, ensuring key issues in each department are being resolved quickly.

The right fit
Suitable candidates must be CIPD qualified, ideally with a degree, with a least 4 years HR Generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing. Experience of working within an expanding SME would be highly desirable.
Key skills required:
- CIPD qualification
- Ideally degree educated
- 4 + years' HR Generalist experience, with experience in a stand alone role
- Ability to influence at a senior level
- Employee relations experience, with experience of rolling out a performance management framework
