HR People Partner - South Down - Manufacturing
MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively working in partnership with an established manufacturing company based in the South Down area, who wish to recruit a HR People Partner on a permanent basis.
The successful HR People Partner will enjoy working in a progressive manufacturing environment, focused on commercial change, with full ownership for a specific business function.
The successful HR People Partner will be commercially minded, interacting on a regular basis with various key internal stakeholders, ensuring the HR service they provide genuinely adds value to the business.
Reporting to the HR Director, the HR People Partner will be responsible for the overall HR Generalist remit, including Talent Manager, acting as a true business partner to the senior management team. You will provide advice and guidance across a range of HR responsibilities, including performance management, employee relations, representing the company during audits, absence management, recruitment and disciplinaries. Change management is high on the agenda, therefore the successful candidate will have to partner with difficult stakeholders at time, ensuring new processes and procedures are successfully embedded across their business area.
Within the wider HR team, the successful HR People Partner will work closely with the Learning & Development Manager to identify top talent within the business, ensuring development programmes are implemented on a regular basis.
The successful candidate
To apply for this outstanding HR People Partner opportunity, it is essential you possess the following:
- 5+ years experience working at HR Business Partner level
- Degree educated and CIPD qualified
- Extensive employee relations experience, combined with strong NI legislation knowledge
- Experience of audits
- Experience of change management in a manufacturing environment would be highly desirable
