We are currently recruiting for a Senior Clerical Officer for the Armagh x2 area. This will be a full-time temporary role, Monday to Friday consisting of 36 hours per week. This vacancy is a temporary ongoing position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-A Senior Clerical Officer will be expected to use a wide range of modern office technology to get the job done - PCs, e-mail, scanning and modern phone systems. They may need to work as part of a team, and their duties may involve dealing with queries from the public, receiving and making phone calls, filing, photocopying, processing claims, reception duties and many other kinds of office administration. Clerical Officers, particularly those assigned to public offices have to be able to cope with pressures faced in a busy work environment
-Either: a minimum of 5 GCSE subjects at grade C or higher including English Language or equivalent as recognised by the Education Authority; Plus 1 year's administrative/clerical experience in an office environment, including practical use of computers OR A minimum of 3 years' administrative/clerical experience in an office environment in the education sector, including practical use of computers.
-Experience of data input to a computerised system
