Join this main contractor as a Site Engineer based on a project located in County Armagh. This is a newly created job for a project starting in the Summer of 2019. Your new employer is an established and reputable construction client based in Northern Ireland who focus on delivery commercial projects. Working directly with repeat private clients as well as multiple public-sector bodies, this client have built an excellent operational team and continue to build on their success. Now seeking a Site Engineer this is an ideal opportunity to join their elite team on an exciting new project that has a 2-year programme based in County Armagh.
Your new role
Based in Armagh, this project is £multi-million construction build that will require a Site Engineer to be involved in all aspects of engineering and site supervision. With a team of Engineers around you, your role will be to provide support when required while ensuring productivity is optimised. Dealing directly with multiple stakeholders including clients and sub-contractor this role will be suited to a strong individual who is capable of driving schemes forward. This is a permanent position and will see you benefit from long term training and progression within the company while also allowing you the opportunity to work on large scale works based solely in NI. You will be required to set out both civil groundworks and steel frame structures.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as a Site Engineer it is essential that you have experience in a similar role, working on RC, Concrete or Steel frame schemes. To be considered for this role you should hold strong communication skills and hold a successful track record of supervising subcontractors on site and setting out works as required. You will strong on setting out and capable to use multiple forms of setting out equipment.
