Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of a local engineering business established over 25 years that has shown annual growth over the last 12 months. They are now looking to recruit a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their team and help establish accounting procedures. This will be a busy role and will suit a candidate with previous experience in accounts admin experience and excellent attention to detail
Your new role
You will be responsible for the site Accounts administration to include; Maintaining Purchase and Sales ledgers and all relating documentation, preparing bank lodgements, bank reconciliations, EC sales & Intrastat,reconciling Statements, dealing with supplier queries and preparing monthly reports for senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar role and have a good standard of systems experience including SAGE. You will need to have good communication, Interpersonal skills and have the ability to work using their own initiative. An accounting qualification, such as IATI, would be beneficial however not essential.
