Accounts Assistant, 12 month contract with opportunities for longer term
Your new company
Established for over 50 years this successful local solutions business are now looking for an additional Accounts Assistant for an initial 12 month+ contract due to increased workload and upcoming team developments.
Your new role
As the Accounts Assistant you will work alongside the Company Accountant and your main responsibilities will include bank reconciliations, preparation of VAT, Assist with month end, maintain fixed asset register and complete any statutory returns within agreed deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar role including experience working with excel reports and detailed working knowledge of computerised accounting systems. Job costing and valuation experience would be beneficial as would work in progress analysis. An IATI or other accounting qualification would be beneficial however not essential.
