Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful local business who are now looking to recruit a Payroll & Accounts Administrator to join their team. This business undertake crucial work to support the country during these unprecedented times, so this role is essential to the business ability to function. This will be a busy role and will suit a candidate with previous Payroll & Accounts Admin experience. Employees have the ability to work from home during these uncertain times.
Your new role
You will be part of a small finance team and be responsible for; maintaining Payroll and all relating documentation. Currently the payroll is at 40% of full time capacity, however the size of the payroll will increase as employees return from furlough positions. You will also assistant with other accounts admin including Purchase and Sales ledgers, preparing bank lodgements, reconciling Statements, dealing with supplier queries, VAT analysis and preparing monthly reports for senior management and shareholders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar role and have a good standard of systems experience including SAGE and MS office. A qualification in Payroll, bookkeeping and accounts is desirable however not essential.
