Your new role
Assist with yearly planning; scheduling, staffing, reporting, follow up action plan. * Work with the engineering team to assist with design for manufacture and procurement of products needed for manufacture. * Ensure an adequate supply chain is in place for all models, drawings, and bill of materials to be produced by Tribe. * Create and manage the Procurement strategic plan as agreed with the executive team. * Provide support and work closely with other departments in the business as needed and prioritised by the General Manager. * To work with the GM and Financial manager in projected costs and profit returns for M&E, Hydraulic, Control Systems, Electrical and large fabricated products. * To assess make vs buy on current and future product lines. * Ensure regulation compliance including ISO standards, manufacturing process and engineering best practice if used by not only Tribes team but external suppliers. * Manage direct reports, including storemen


What you'll need to succeed
Degree qualified in engineering, or related degree
Minimum of 10 years in Engineering / Procurement / Production / Supply chain
Minimum of 5 years in Procurement
Minimum 5 years' experience in Project management.Proficient in MS office suite
Strong understanding of common engineering standards for mobile equipment product development (3D Modelling, design & drafting GD&T)
Working knowledge of structure mechanics, material failure modes, and joint design (welded and hardware)
Understand machine steel fabrications, manufacturing techniques, and processes for mobile equipment
