Fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established, growing company based in Newtownabbey who have an urgent requirement for a Transport Administrator
TEMP TO PERMANENT CONTRACT
START IMMEDIATELY (OR ONE WEEKS NOTICE)
Starting @ £8.50 per hour (this salary will rise after probationary period) you will begin the role administratively learning the complete workings of the company.
Training will be given in the role and this is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop a career in Logistics.
The main purpose of the role is to provide effective and efficient admin support to a busy transport department.
-To book in the loads/deliveries with the customers
-To ensure orders are processed accurately and quickly
-To communicate with external and internal customers keeping them updated as to their orders
-To provide necessary information in writing to 3rd parties/suppliers/drivers
-Responsible for sending instructions to drivers for the following days orders and ensure they are sent within the agreed deadlines
-Ensuring that all orders are completed fully and closed
-To undertake additional duties as requested by the Line Manager
-Experience in a similar Transport Administration role
-Experience of CRM System.
-Excellent communication skills written/verbal
-Computer literate and ability to learn/pick up new systems quickly
-Proficient in the use of Excel
-Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Hours of work 40 hours (Monday to Friday) - flexible to do extra hours as and when required depending upon job demands
