Hays Construction are representing a client who have a requirement for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their Northern Ireland based operation. The company have established themselves in the commercial refurbishment and fitout sector over the last few years and have experienced significant growth. They have delivered small build and fitout projects across Northern Ireland for a number of major clients and are intent on further developing their portfolio. They have a requirement for a Site Supervisor coming from a joinery background to join them in helping the business grow from strength to strength.
Your new role
As a result of sustained growth, this firm require a Site Supervisor to join them on their Belfast, Lisburn & Portadown based projects. Initially the role will involve overseeing a number of sites in the mainly involving fitout, refurbishment & small build work. The company carry out the vast majority of their work locally in Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience working to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on quality, health & safety. As Site Supervisor you will be required to lead the team on a daily basis, ensuring deadlines are met within time and budget. In addition, you will also be required to hold daily briefings in order to manage employee performance and targets whilst ensuring health & safety is a priority.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to fulfil the needs of this role, you will ideally possess a high level of communication, organisation and the ability to uphold a high standard of work throughout the projects. Previous experience of overseeing fitout or refurbishment projects including commercial and retail schemes is required for this position. It is also essential that the successful candidate comes from a joinery background. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR Site Supervisor Card, CSCS, or SMSTS training certificate.
