Response Assets Officer required by a Housing Association for a period of 12 months
Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by our client, an established Housing Association, to recruit a Response Assets Officer on a contract basis for a period of 12 months. Our client is a growing Housing Association that are working hard to provide suitable homes for tenants and are actively developing new homes across the province.
Your new role
Reporting to the Property Assets Manager, you will assist in the delivery of a high-quality, customer focused response maintenance service ensuring that all properties are maintained to a high standard, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and delivering value for money. This will include:
Undertaking pre and post inspection surveys and change of tenancy inspections of the Association's properties, using technical knowledge of building construction and maintenance to diagnose faults and implementing solutions;
Tracking completion of all technical orders that have been raised and managing the performance of measured term and specialist response maintenance contractors;
Electronic recording of all inspection and works orders and technical interventions using the Associations IT systems;
Timely inspection and turnaround of void properties to ensure loss of rent and voids are minimised.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you must possess:
Sound knowledge of property construction / maintenance in relation to residential property;
Working knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirement relating to property services within a residential property or social housing environment;
Working knowledge of health and safety requirements;
A recognised technical qualification in a relevant field at least to HND level.
