A public sector client require a Plumber/mechanical fitter to work, as part of a maintenance team, on a hospital site based up in Antrim. This is a long term role which will run to around March 2019. You work full time hours Monday to Friday and will be required to go through an Enhanced Access NI prior to any agreed start date.
Your new role
You will be responsible for a range of planned maintenance throughout the live hospital site. This will involve servicing valves beneath sinks, isolating pipes, cleaning pipes, servicing plant room boilers, heating systems and working with motorised valves.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a recognised and registered CITB or EITB approved apprenticeship along with experience in maintenance of engineering services, plumbing and heating installations.You must also have City and Guilds 205 Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Part II. An equivalent qualification will be considered. Good knowledge of heating & plumbing and B.E.M.S is also a requirement for this role.A full UK driving license is also essential for any applicants who wish to apply for this role.
Enhanced access NI will be required prior to any agreed start date.
