A dynamic and progressive Fit-Out specialist, based in Antrim, are currently looking for a BIM Manager to join their team in a position of real influence and importance. This position has been created as the result of consistent tender success, and an increased involvement in Design & Build contracts requirement in-house digital construction capabilities. Your new role
You will be responsible for managing design development on a compelling range of projects, working alongside this companies multi-disciplinary team and design colleagues. Facilitating the coordination of various elements of design (including MEP, A/V and lighting) you'll ensuring production information is accurate, efficient and in accordance with Building Regulations, Standards and codes of practice. working alongside the Operations team, you'll ensure build-ability and cost-planning are integrated from concept to completion, and organise/chair design meetings to make sure key elements are adopted unilaterally. You will be responsible for regular reporting on BIM implementation progress, and indeed work closely with project managers throughout project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a registered Architect or Architectural Technologist with extensive post-qualification experience. Ideally you will have extensive experience in progressing projects from RIBA stages 4 and beyond, with a depth of knowledge and awareness of BIM Processes, building regulations and processes, and a fundamental proficiency and expertise within Autodesk Revit Software packages. In terms of softer skills, this role will require a strong communicator with people management skills, and you should be comfortable working under pressure, to tight programmes and confidence in doing what it takes to deliver results. Some travel may be required intermittently with this role, to projects based throughout the UK.
