The services of Hays have been retained by our client; a reputable organisation based in Antrim to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a long-term temporary contract basis with a possibility of being made permanent.
Your new role
Working within the existing finance team you will be responsible for a range of duties to include:
- Processing information onto Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger
- Posting Customer Payments
- Bank Reconciliations
- General admin/filing
- Match purchase orders to invoices, coding of purchase invoices
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements to supplier accounts
- Help to prepare the monthly cheque runs
What you'll need to succeed
You should possess a minimum of 1 years' experience in an accounts payable or general accounting position. You should be proficient in Data Entry and have knowledge of relevant accounting software. You will be able to work without supervision and possess strong Excel skills and good communication skills.
What you'll get in return
This role offers an immediate start on a temporary contract basis with the option of being made permanent for outstanding performers. The annual salary for the position is between £19,000 - 21,000 per annum, which will be paid weekly via Hays. You have the option of working in the office, where all guidelines regarding social distancing are in place, with the company also offering free onsite parking or have the option to work remotely.
