I am currently working on behalf of a well-established company based in Newtownabbey to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 8-10 weeks.
Your new role
Working within the existing team you will be responsible for a range of duties to include:
* Scanning and filing purchase ledger invoices.
* Processing Daily payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid within the agreed terms;
* Investigating purchase invoice queries and ensuring queries are resolved as quickly as possible;
* Reconciliation of supplier statements.
* Liaise with external 3rd parties such as HMRC.
What you'll need to succeed
You should possess a minimum of 1 years' experience in an accounts payable or general accounting position. You should be proficient in Data Entry and have knowledge of relevant accounting software. You will be able to work without supervision and possess strong Excel skills and good communication skills.

This role offers an immediate start on a temporary contract basis with a reputable client based in Newtownabbey for an initial period of 8-10 weeks. The annual salary for the position is between £21,000 per annum, which will be paid weekly via Hays. You will be working in the office, with all guidelines regarding social distancing are in place, with the company also offering free onsite parking.
