Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for a large Public Sector organisation based in Ballymena for the appointment of a Part Qualified Accountant on a Temporary ongoing basis. Our client are highly regarded in their sector for the services they provide, they now require a new Accounting Technician to manage all aspects of operational finance within their busy finance department. Your new role
In this Accounting Technician job you will be reporting into an Accountant and will be responsible for a variety of duties including; assisting in the preparation of management accounts, budgeting, monthly forecasting and variance analysis. Your duties will also include administration of all aspects of the payroll function, developing and implementing sound income protection systems, credit control policies and effective cost transformation strategies, assisting in year-end statutory accounts and to present accounts and any appropriate financial information to the Finance Officer whilst also managing a team.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need:
-Full Accounting Technician
-3 years' experience working in a busy finance environment
-3 years' experience in the following; Purchase ledger, Sales ledger, Payroll & Management
-Experience in management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
-Experience using SAGE line 50 & Payroll accounting software
