The client is an award-winning, innovative manufacturing business which supplies and in demand and niche product to the built environment sector. The client has experienced considerable growth in recent years and is now in the exciting position to appoint a Project Planner to assist the contracts team.
The role of Project Planner is an autonomous role with a high-level of responsibility, variation and job satisfaction. You will be responsible for the scheduling of engineers and allocation of work. You will liaise with the engineers and run reports to verify work completed. You will build strong relationships with all stakeholders and have the ability to effectively manage expectations. You will, as the role develops, have the opportunity to attend site visits and gain first hand exposure to the technical project process.
The right person for this role will be a strong business support/administration professional with experience gained within a manufacturing/engineering environment. You may have experience in scheduling engineers and organising the workload of other members of staff. You must have an advanced Excel skill set and be comfortable in managing large data sets with ease. The right person for this role will be a self-starter and someone who enjoys the buzz of a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
