We are currently looking for ambitious and sales driven individuals to join us as Recruitment Resourcer, to support candidate attraction in our award-winning construction & property specialisms - one the busiest markets in the UK & Ireland. You will be working alongside a skilled management team in recruiting white collar construction professionals. This position will give you exposure to a variety of construction sectors and first-hand knowledge of how the world around us is built including, high rise Commercial Buildings, Civils Infrastructure Schemes and Residential Properties to name a few. By joining this team, you will become a member of our flagship Northern Ireland office in Belfast which is the leading recruiting business in the region.
No prior recruitment experience or qualifications are required for this position, instead we are looking for individuals who display our core values: passionate about people, ambitious, insightful, expert and innovative. What should I expect day to day?
Your role as a Resourcer will help shape the careers of Construction & Civil Engineering professionals as they either start their post qualification employment or seek to advance their careers into more experienced and senior roles by matching their skill set with our established client base.
In turn this role will give you exposure to working alongside some of N.I's leading construction companies as they look to the Hays Construction Team to help strengthen their own businesses.
You will do this by providing support on the day-to-day operation of recruiting candidates. You will assist in the delivery of recruitment best practise by maintaining standard proceedings, ensuring effective candidate care and records management
On a daily basis you can expect to be proactively engaging with candidates and highlighting new roles to them, providing construction professionals with options and market insights. You will use bespoke marketing tools to target relevant candidates and engage with them on a variety of levels including phone calls, virtual meetings and carrying out face to face interviews to determine their skills and best fit with our clients needs. This position will also see you involved in sales writing and negotiation tactics while handling any queries that may arise and ensuring compliance regulations are completed.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to demonstrate that you are results-focused, organised and possess an ambitious drive to succeed. This is a customer facing role that will require you to have strong sales skills and a customer focused work ethic. Some key personal skills that will help you succeed will include perseverance to achieve results, resilience, and a determination to go the extra mile and learn all there is to know about construction recruitment. Experience in an office environment would be useful as well as being computer literate. You will need to be passionate about people, outgoing and confident.
