Your new role
The Communications Business Partner will play an essential role in assisting in the delivery of Marketing, PR and Social Media services ensuring organisational values, ambitions and goals are achieved. You will assist the Senior Communications Business Partner in the design, delivery and implementation of a Marketing Communications Strategy in line with annual budgets. You will build strong working relationships with colleagues to ensure a regular flow of information for marketing purposes and become a valued first point of contact for marketing and communications queries ensuring their communications support needs are met. You will provide a responsive marketing and comms support service to colleagues across the organisation and take ownership for delivery. You will work closely with departmental managers to promote and deliver PR and marketing campaigns to include the design and development of a range of marketing materials. You will research and write press articles and be independently responsible for the quality of written work. You will organise and be responsible for corporate events, photo opportunities and other public relations opportunities. You will monitor the social media accounts and ensure a regular stream of original, engaging and relevant content on both the social media accounts and corporate website. You will keep up to date on new social media platforms and marketing trends and techniques and continually research examples of good proactive that can be used in the development of social media reach and influence. You will plan a creative and effective internal communications campaigns and take responsibility for delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a third level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Public Relations or Digital Media. Exceptional candidates who do not have a third level qualification but have a great deal of experience in a similar communications environment may also apply. You will have experience of working with the media including writing and issuing press releases and responding to media enquiries. You will have experience in researching, writing and managing the production of corporate publications and marketing materials. You will have experience of working with digital communications platforms including websites, social media, blogs. You will have experience of planning, organising and delivering events. You will be an excellent communicator, well organised, have photography and videography skills and hold a full UK driving licence.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of between £26.500-33,400 per annum + benefits and a permanent position in a growing organisation.
