MCS Group is looking for an experienced Software Architect for a contract position in Belfast. This Software Architect will join a leader within the payments sector, working on projects for their high profile, financial clients. As Software Architect, you will join for a period of 6 months, and be heavily involved in how different systems and applications will interact.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to influence the technical direction across the company.
You will get heavily involved with the formal architecture and the company roadmap.
You will be designing and building public facing APIs.
You will work in a .Net / .Net Core environment.
This role is all about putting the software together, and is your chance to showcase your existing software architecture skills in a cutting edge, financial environment.

The Person
This position requires excellent prior experience of working on Application and Enterprise Architecture.
You will have a background in software design, with excellent coding experience, with an emphasis on SaaS.
You will have prior experience of building APIs.
Ideally, you will come from a .Net development background, but expertise in other languages will also be considered.
It is beneficial to have prior commercial experience within the Payments Domain.
