MCS Group is delighted to be working on behalf of our multi-award-winning client as they strengthen their established team with the role of Senior QA Software Engineer.

Our client is a world leader in threat intelligence software and they require the support of a Senior QA Engineer to grow on their continued success. You will join an innovative team of like-minded individuals as you create and deploy some of the most advanced cyber security software to clients around the world.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a QA Engineer to to join a highly technical team that pride themselves on their collaborative working environment.

The Role

As a Senior QA Engineer you will author and automate test plans and develop the test specification for product features. You will work in a team to test multiple complex components of software technologies, systems and application. This is a challenging but rewarding role that will enable you to work across multiple teams to a deliver top in class products.

The Person

• 3+ years of test automation experience; demonstrated ability to contribute to test automation frameworks and test suites
• A Background in Linux/Unix software development proficiency in ANY of the following languages; Python, Java, C++
• Experience testing RESTful services with SoapUI or equivalent
• UI testing expertise with frameworks such as Selenium or Appium
• Experience with relational databases
• Test case development, prioritization, and organization
• Exposure to continuous integration processes & platforms
• Source control experience
• Works well in an agile team environment
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to get your point across clearly
