MCS Group is proud to be continuing their long-term partnership with a global market share leader to build out a brand-new Cloud Platform team. We are initially looking for a Senior QA Engineer as one of their first strategic hires.

The company have excellence at the core of everything they do. This new Cloud Platform will unify all cloud services across a suite of 40 products for millions of customers. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key technical role in building out this greenfield cloud platform. You will drive the quality, ensuring high standards are kept whilst promoting a shift-left approach.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for driving quality throughout the team, working and driving a shift left environment.
• You will develop and promote processes across both test automation and overall test processes.
• You will collaborate with various teams across the global business.
• You will bring ideas and make recommendations to the improvement of the platform to increase productivity.

Experience required:

• Strong commercial experience in a QA Engineering position is essential.
• Experience in creating and implementing the QA programme across a team of QA Engineers and Developers is essential.
• Experience with cloud technologies is beneficial (GCP or Azure or AWS).
• Knowledge or understanding of test automation is essential, although being in-depth hands-on isn't essential.
• Experience working with global teams is advantageous.
