While showing massive growth in recent years, our client has decided to bring a chunk of their Technology offering to their new Belfast site; building out a new platform that will completely revolutionise the InsurTech.

The Client

Our client has played a critical role throughout the InsurTech industry in recent years. Providing a platform as an insurance aggregator is not the only offering our client has, their technology is based around high performance software solutions that also provide insightful data for their clients while also delivering satisfying results on the consumer side.

Although already quite well established, our client has brought a new division of their company to Belfast, meaning that there has been a strong start-up culture with the Belfast team but with the massive financial backing from a larger enterprise company.

The Role

Responsible for Testing and Quality Assurance across a portfolio of varied Personal line insurance products. The focus will be on test planning, and manual execution using a variety of techniques/methodologies, in a fast paced Agile and Story driven lifecycle.

You'll work closely with a quality focused and experienced development team on a Microsoft Web development platform (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Azure). You will be a champion for Quality and Improvement, within a close-knit and collaborative multi-skilled unit.

The Candidate

Essential Criteria:

• 4 Years manual functional testing experience - Test planning and execution
• Experience in an fast paced Agile, Web based and Story Driven environment
• Previous Ownership of UAT process and external client relationships
• Leading/Mentoring of Junior QA
• Must have a Tester's 'Quality ' Mindset
• Jira or similar Management system
• Rest APIs
• Device/Cross Browser testing
• Ability to assess and prioritise workload and bug list
• Test Estimation

Desired Criteria:

• Automation experience with Cypress
• Scripting experience - C# or similar
• SQL
• XRay
• Accessibility Testing
• SEO Principles and best practices
• MS DevOps/Azure
• Knowledge and experience of Insurance industries
• CRM
• CMS
• ISTQB Qualified
