The MCS Group is working together with a global investments company who have set up in Belfast. New site. Exciting redesign and rebuild project of a huge Insurance Platform. Looking for a Lead/Principal Front-End Software Engineer with experience in React.

ROLE

This is a key role where you will be very much setting the Front-End Development direction of an InsurTech Platform which is currently undergoing complete redesign and rebuild. You will be in charge of the UI/UX of this project - major opportunity for creativity and heavy influence.

Work as a part of small, productive development team that cares most about delivering value to the business while emphasizing code quality, peer reviews and strong engineering practices.

You will play a major part in this InsurTech project for the company working alongside some fantastic engineers, using all the latest technologies within a fully agile, autonomous, no red tape environment.

The Criteria:

Ideally candidates will have a degree in relevant subject and 10+ years Software Development experience and 4+ years within the React space. Looking for someone who is ambitious and not afraid, someone with a passion for UX and someone who can adapt quickly. This is a Lead / Principal Level role.

Must have the right to work in the UK.

Experience with:

• 10+ years in Software Development
• 4+ years Front-End Development with React
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Agile working

PACKAGE

This role has a very attractive salary of up to 75k plus package including 35 days holiday, 7% pension, private healthcare, catered lunches and for those of you up for the challenge - poker tournaments.
