MCS Group are delighted to work with an exciting new company to Belfast to recruit for an Application Support Engineer to join a growing support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Application Support Engineer to join a global business and work with industry leading software.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with opportunities to take on more responsibility and develop their skills. You will be working with some of the Financial Service sectors most cutting edge technology.

The Role:

You will be involved in providing a high level of support to the client's customers across several interesting applications. The Application Support role is within a large global support team providing first, second and third line support on a range of leading financial software.

This role also gives you the opportunity to work with onboarding new clients, which will give you the chance to work closely to build relationships, and also to learn new technologies.

The Person:

Unix/Linux experience
Knowledge of scripting languages EG. Powershell, Bash, Perl, etc
Experience with messaging protocols EG. FIX is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience in a FinTech company
Understanding of networking E.G. TCP/IP

The Package

Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
