Your new role
In your new role you will manage Data Protection Compliance and advise on legal requirements in Information Security Management. You will provide strategic assistance in the planning, implementation, management and change of Information Systems. Ensure that statutory requirements are met in relation to data protection and data management and lead in the development of effective records management practice. Develop and deliver information security awareness training including face to face and computer based training. Report to Senior Management any significant risk exposures, governance or control issues and work with the relevant teams to develop solutions. Develop and maintain appropriate systems, procedures, protocols and timeframes to manage data access requests. Co-ordinate response to data subject access requests and Provide first response and coordinate the investigation and reporting of data breach incidents.
What you'll need to succeed
Three years relevant work experience including two with a significant responsibility for information security. Third level education to degree level and knowledge in European data protection laws and practices. Relevant qualification in data protection with a current driving license and access to a car during working hours. Ability to work outside normal office hours occasionally.
