Senior Project Manager

What does this job involve?
The Project Manager will report directly to the Programme Manager and work alongside a Business Analyst and dedicated software development resource. This job will involve the production of project plans, control documents and reports. You will be responsible for the production of overall project deliverables and each project Stage deliverables while identifying project Issues and Risks. You will assist the BA with organising customer workshops and customer project meetings and then help with the analysis and documentation of customer requirements. Any client issues will be resolved by working at both process and technical level and suggest relevant approaches. You will also represent my client at project board meetings.
What skills and experience are needed?
This is a senior project management job so substantial experience (over 5 years) of successful delivery of projects for complex enterprise solutions is required. Knowledge and working experience of project management best practices e.g. PRINCE2, Agile is also needed. My client has teams in Warrington and Chennai so experience dealing with remote teams would be helpful. You will need strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge supportively and effectively where appropriate. You will be required to successfully complete a Baseline Personnel Security Check (BPSC) and Security Clearance (SC) check.
