Lead Front End Web Developer
Are you a senior front-end developer who has experience taking the lead on projects? Are you a lead developer who is seeking a step up in terms of client base and responsibility?
Who is the company?
My client is a UK wide digital solutions agency with offices in Dublin, London and Belfast (HQ) and they are making a major strategic investment to move into new markets. They currently employ around 50 people and they announced plans earlier this year to bring the headcount up to 75. These jobs include developers, software testers, digital designers and a graduate academy. The purpose of these jobs is to help develop the business outside of Belfast specifically in Europe, the US, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
This is one of the fastest growing companies in the digital sector, not only in Belfast but across the whole of the UK.
Why you should consider this front-end development job
The design and development teams work in a very collaborative environment. My client finds that this improves functionality and the user experience of web applications. You will create code for responsive UI designs using innovative technologies and up to date coding standards while also working on prototypes, mock-ups, and staging sites for review and feedback.
There is an element of maintaining current websites and implementing additions and enchantments while identifying and troubleshooting various website issues and coding problems.
Since this is a lead role in the team you will need to be able to implement new technologies and standards into client projects.
What skills are essential?
Although it's not essential, if you are a front-end developer with experience with React, Angular or Vue, we would be keen to hear from you.
