Training Coordinator - Manufacturing Organisation - Greater Belfast
A successful local company that employs nearly 900 people, with multiple sites and has been trading for nearly 40 years has partnered with the MCS Group to find a Training Coordinator on a permanent basis. The Training Coordinator will report to and support the Training and Development Manager with the delivery and management of all training coordination across the organisation.
The Company has grown significantly and operates internationally, and will require someone who can work in a growth phase and ensure employees are suitably trained to support this through superior delivery to their clients. Training is likely to include health and safety and core development skills training and support.
This role provides a support function and point of contact for training for the Operations team to help manage the Operational Trainers and to create reports to help the management identify issues with training. The successful candidate will perform administrative duties for the training and H&S functions which relate to the maintenance of the L&D management system, promoting its use amongst the operational staff, as well as conducting a training needs analysis, including the design and deliver of training interventions to address identified training gaps.
This Co. Antrim based Training Coordinator role will suit an HR or training professional who has worked with multiple teams simultaneously and enjoys working under pressure and to tight deadlines. Strong administration and previous training exposure would be ideal as creating timetables and managing lots of trainees through intensive and regular training programmes will be essential and demanding.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital as the successful incumbent will need to build relationships quickly at all levels of seniority across the business. The ideal training coordinator will be administratively strong, particularly on excel and PowerPoint.

- 2 years experience in a Training Coordination role
- Experience in writing and producing reports
- CIPD qualification, ideally in training
- Ideally have experience in manufacturing
- Full clean driving license with access to own vehicle
