Talent Manager (FDI) - Belfast - Newly created role
MCS Group is incredibly excited to be partnering with an international technology organisation, with imminent plans to expand in the Northern Ireland. To help push this expansion forward and set up their Belfast operation, they require a highly experienced Talent Manager on a permanent basis.
The is an outstanding opportunity for a highly experienced, autonomous HR Professional to partner with a global team, with full responsibility to develop a business from the ground up at local level.
The business has boosted phenomenal global success over the last number of years, as it has expanded and grown at a steady rate. With offices based globally, the company has plans to rapidly increase this headcount globally, identifying Belfast as a key area for this potential growth.
The Talent Manager will have full responsible for ensuring effective delivery of all HR aspects for the Belfast operations function, working in partnership with a global HR team to ensure excellent service is provided to managers & employees at all times, in a consistent manner.
The successful Talent Manager will work closely with various internal stakeholders throughout the global and local team as it expands, understanding current and future requirements regarding various HR issues, including recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for resource plans to ensure there is a steady pipeline of top talent, ensuring the employers brand is strong in a highly competitive market, attracting the best talent at all levels.
As the Belfast operation expands, the Talent Manager will establish a positive working environment, contributing to an great culture, resulting in an engaged workforce. There will also be a number of projects for the successful candidate, both locally and globally, strategically pushing the busy forward.
The successful Talent Manager will be a key point of contact for employee relations issues, including performance management processes, ensuring all issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently. The HR strategy will be very proactive, ensuring line management is upskilled to deal with employee relations issues at an early stage in the process.
The successful candidate will possess the following
- At least 5 years' experience at HR Manager / HR BP level
- Degree educated and CIPD qualified
- Experience of setting up an HR function from scratch in a rapidly expanding organisation
- Ideally experience in a technology organisation
