HR Business Partner - Belfast - HR Systems Implementation
MCS Group is delighted to be working in partnership with a high profile Public Sector organisation based in Belfast, currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for an initial 6 month period, with the high potential to be extended.
Working as part of a busy, professional HR Team and assisted by a comprehensive administrative support service, the successful HR Business Partner be heavily involved in the implementation of a new HR system
The organisation is currently implementing a new Human Resources Information Management System called iTrent. It will update the way they provide professional HR services to our staff and other stakeholders. We're initially focusing on the introduction of the core IT system and updating our work practices. Phase II will be encouraging greater integration across their way of working from recruitment through to staff development.
The company are still in the build stage of the system and are looking forward to undertaking user testing with their colleagues early in 2020 with a view to full implementation by late Spring 2020.
Due to this, the implementation project team are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and knowledgeable HR professional to complete phase I implementation stage. Working closely with the current implementation team, the post holder will be the main system administrator responsible for the hands on technical configuration of the system from the generic product provided by iTrent, testing stages of the project including technical fixes, developing and delivering a comprehensive user testing plan, supporting user training and assisting with the corporate wide rollout.
The post holder will be based in the HR team and work closely with the implementation team comprising HR, Learning and Development and IT staff.
The successful candidate
The successful HR Business Partner will have:
- Current membership of the CIPD at a minimum of Associate level.
- A good practical understanding of a range of formal HR policies and practices used in a professional organisation;
- A successful hands-on track record in the implementation of a Human Resources system as part of the system implementation team responsible for the system build;
- Good project management skills to meet challenging deadlines;
- Excellent relationship management skills with evidence of working collaboratively as part of an established team and the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders;
