Your new company
Your new company is a private, family run construction firm based in Co. Tyrone, specialising in the commercial & residential sector with a continuously expanding portfolio of works across Northern Ireland. Due to ongoing project requirements, the company are now seeking an immediately available Health & Safety Advisor for 3-4 months based on a commercial office block in Belfast City Centre.
Your new role
As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering and maintaining a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the live site, assisting in ensuring that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated alongside the development and regular review of SHEQ Policies, Risk Assessments and Method Statements on site. You will regularly carry out regular site inductions, audits & inspections and conduct any accident investigations when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Health & Safety Advisor, the company are welcoming Graduate or Junior Health & Safety Advisors as all systems are in place and training will be provided, or alternatively those with a previous track record working in a similar role preferably within a construction environment. You'll demonstrate a knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures with an understanding of Health & Safety procedures throughout a live project. You will be professionally qualified to NEBOSH level or hold a relevant BSc Degree. As this is an imminent project requirement, you will be immediately available for at least 3-4 months' work.
This role will be site based and as such, you must be within commutable distance to Belfast City Centre. Following completion of the initial project, the company are offering the potential opportunity for a permanent position.
