The Electoral Commission is the independent body that regulates party and election finance, sets standards for well-run elections and encourages people to register to vote.
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to lead the work of the Commission in Northern Ireland. You will be an ambassador for the Commission, with responsibility for leading and managing the delivery of our functions in Northern Ireland.
As part of the Commission’s Senior Leadership Group, you will also contribute to the direction of the organisation as a whole, and there will be opportunities to lead significant programmes of work.
A strong leader, you will have extensive experience of working within government, a regulatory organisation or a regional body, and have a thorough knowledge of the political and media context in which the Commission operates in Northern Ireland. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build and sustain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Northern Ireland. You will have excellent judgement and be able to deliver results under high levels of external scrutiny.
