Hays are working in partnership with a recognised Public Body Client to recruit for a Structural Asset Manager. With around 3,800 employees across various locations throughout the province, this company is one of Northern Ireland's largest employers who has 50+ years' experience in providing quality services throughout Northern Ireland. Due to a consistent pipeline of work leading into 2022, this organisation now seeks a Structural Asset Manager to join their growing team.
Your new role
You will report to the Structures Maintenance Engineer, leading and managing an information management-based business support function. These supporting functions will work collaboratively with both the Structures Capital & Maintenance teams to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and internationally recognised management and asset standards. You will also support the Structures Department Managers in key decision-making processes relating to both capital and revenue interventions and spend.
- Develop, maintain, and audit an asset management system, compliant with ISO55000 for all NIR's structures, earthworks, drainage and Third-Party assets that is compatible with internal electronic data management systems and overall Information Management strategy.
- Develop asset management systems procurement strategies, produce contract documentation in conjunction with key stakeholders, manage the procurement process and manage contracts to ensure asset management system contracts are developed and updated to meet milestones.
- Manage the current Structures data effectively whilst the new system is being implemented. As a technical expert define the requirements for the build of the asset management system whilst fulfilling the duties of the project manager for the delivery of the system.

What you need to succeed Minimum of 3 years' experience in the successful implementation / management of an accredited asset management system, in a construction, manufacturing or other technical based business sector. Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical subject e.g., IT, Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction, Engineering, manufacturing.
