Your new role
As the Control Systems Engineer you will play an important role in R&D for the company - you will be the key source of knowledge and expertise for PLCs and automated controls. You will design and develop advanced control systems to integrate with mechanical and hydraulic design for heavy engineering equipment. In this role you will use your experience with sensors, actuators and instrumentation hardware to make recommendations for design. In your new role you will perform a variety task including advanced calculations to substantiate design and show necessary design details, section views, and dimensions on production drawings. You will work closely with Project Managers and follow strategic engineering plans while providing key insight and making recommendations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing the role of Control Systems Engineer you should have a Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (Mechatronic/Electronic) and substantial experience in automated design for engineering. You should have experience in a range of software's ideally SolidWorks Electrical, and knowledge of mobile equipment and machinery. Candidates with experience in Codesys are particularly welcomed. You will be expected to have a good level of technical skills in programming in addition to an understanding of various power systems.
