Business Change Manager

Hays are working in partnership with a recognised Public Body Client to recruit for a Business Change Manager who will be managing the business change associated with the delivery of the Ballast Rehabilitation Establishment Programme, and liaising with the wider business to facilitate the successful introduction of new on track plant and its associated infrastructure, personnel and working practices. With around 3,800 employees across various locations throughout the province, this company is one of Northern Ireland's largest employers who has 50+ years' experience in providing quality services throughout Northern Ireland. Due to a consistent pipeline of work leading into 2022, this organisation now seeks to grow the team.
Your new role
Developing, implementing, reviewing and updating the business change strategy for the Ballast Rehabilitation Establishment Programme. Communication of the business change strategy and updates to the wider business including project and programme boards. Identifying, managing and coordinating all interrelated and dependent business change activities associated with the introduction of the ballast cleaning machine, ancillary equipment, stabling and maintenance depot and new working practices in the operation, maintenance and management of the ballast rehabilitation programme. Liaising with internal staff in Fleet Engineering, Permanent Way, Rail Operations etc. to ensure all business change activities are delivered and benefits realised as per the BREP schedule. Managing the business change seconded team members from Fleet Engineering, Permanent Way, Rail Operations etc. and other department members to deliver the business change strategy for the Ballast Rehabilitation Establishment Programme. Defining the benefits associated with the Ballast Rehabilitation Establishment Programme, tracking progress towards realisation, and achieving measured improvements in business operations.

What you need to succeed
Minimum of 3 years' experience of operational management or construction project management
