Having recently been awarded a new Datacentre project with a repeat blue-chip client, your initial project will give you an excellent introduction to life with this Tier 1 Contractor.
Your new role
This position is open to Engineers at all levels of experience due to the size and scale of the project. There will be opportunities for Senior Engineers, Site Engineers and even recent Graduates who have setting out experience.
Based on 1 large single site, this position will provide Engineers with a full scope of works in taking a greenfield site to a state of the art Datacentre encompassing the full civils and groundwork's package as well as the structural element of the building itself.
You will be tasked with Setting Out works using Total Station, GPS and dumpy level while providing information to assist with the construction of works.
You will manage materials and reorder in a timely and efficient manner when required as well as effectively managing site employees and sub-contractors on site.
What you'll need to succeed
Suitable applicants will have experience on large scale civils or building projects ideally having worked with similar Tier 1 or 2 contractors.
Given the nature of projects you must be prepared to travel throughout the UK & Ireland
A Third level qualification in Construction or Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Minimum of HND or equivalent standard) will be required.
You will be fully aware of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental processes within a civil or building projects. Experienced in using GPS & Totalstation equipment as well as Auto Cad computer packages.
