Your new role
An opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer with a civils bias to join this Construction team for projects based across the UK. With multiple sites operational across Northern Ireland and Southern England, your new role will be to deliver a highway project with subsequent spine roads on schedule and within budget, ensuring project performance targets are achieved.
You will be tasked with Setting Out works using Total Station, GPS and dumpy level while providing information to assist with the construction of works. You will manage materials and reorder in a timely and efficient manner when required as well as effectively managing site employees and sub-contractors on site.
What you'll need to succeed
Suitable applicants will have experience on large scale civils projects ideally having worked on roads or highways projects however all forms of civils will be considered.
Given the nature of projects you must be prepared to travel throughout the UK.
A Third level qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Minimum of HND or equivalent standard) will be required.
You will be fully aware of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental processes within a civil engineering projects.
Experienced in using GPS & Totalstation equipment as well as Auto Cad computer packages.
