Your new company is a leading construction services & interior fit out contractor based in Belfast who are currently seeking to add a Health & Safety Manager to their expanding operational team. With an operational history of over 40 years, the company has evolved in to one of the leading specialists in construction services and interior fit out solutions across the UK and Ireland, specialising in commercial, residential, hospitality and leisure schemes across both private and public sectors. With a central focus on professionalism and commitment, this company now require a keen Health & Safety Manager to maintain the highest level of Health & Safety accreditations and who shares their dedication and passion for excellent service and delivery.
Your new role
As a Health & Safety Manager, you will have complete responsibility in delivering and maintaining a positive Health and Safety culture, managing the implementation of the Company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Policies and procedures.
You will be tasked with ensuring that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated alongside the development and regular review of SHEQ Policies, Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all operations and works carried out. You will regularly manage the ongoing development and administration of ISO accreditations & carry out site audits & inspections, conducting any accident investigations when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Health & Safety Manager, you will have a previous track record working in a similar management role, preferably within a construction environment. You'll demonstrate a working knowledge of SHEQ standards & audit procedures with a sound understanding of implementing integrated ISOs (14001, 45001 & 9001) throughout a live project. You will be professionally qualified to NEBOSH level or hold a relevant BSc Degree. As the role is at managerial level, you will be comfortable & confident working independently, overseeing all health & safety within the company. With sites covering both NI and across the UK, a flexible approach to limited travel is essential.
