Hays are working in partnership with a private client and developer delivering some of the most sophisticated and sustainable regeneration projects in Europe. Based in central Belfast, they are building on their large scale mixed portfolio of residential, commercial, tourism, education and retail space.
Your new role
The Development Manager will work with the Commercial Director to deliver the Group's development projects and business development activities together with assuming responsibility for the proactive asset management and letting of the Company's commercial property portfolio in order to maximise rents and value.
The Development Manager will be involved in all matters relating to the letting and development process from inception to completion, analysis of rental and sale offers, development appraisal and development financial modelling, drafting of business cases as well as management of third-party service providers and business development activities.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Criteria * 3rd level qualification in property development or a related discipline * RICS qualified or equivalent or working towards such qualifications * Minimum of 4 years commercial property letting or property development experience * Detailed knowledge of development appraisals, financial modelling of development projects and analysis of development proposals * Experience of successfully managing a team, working as part of a team and across teams * Ability to work under pressure to strict and exacting deadlines and react quickly and effectively to ad hoc situations * Tenacious with the ability to get all tasks completed efficiently * Strong interpersonal, planning, IT and communication skills
Desirable Criteria * Experience in securing and delivering commercial property finance * Full valid driving license with access to a car with suitable insurance for business purposes
