Hays Construction have been retained by one of the UK & Ireland's tier 1 contractors who currently require an experienced Project Manager to join a multi-award-winning employer of choice. Our client has delivered landmark projects across a variety of sectors throughout their 50 years in the industry. With the overwhelming growth and demand in the market this year, the company plan to deliver a wide range of projects in order to expand and build on their already prestigious project portfolio. With impressive builds across a variety of sectors including leisure, residential & hospitality, this firm requires a Project Manager to oversee and deliver all phases of the build, estimated at around £17.5m.
Your new role
Due to continuous growth in the market, the company require an experienced Project Manager to initially oversee the build of a large-scale development including 333 studio flats and retail and leisure outlets. As Project Manager you must have experience of overseeing major commercial projects. You will be required to work to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on quality, health & safety. As Project Manager you will be required to oversee planning applications & financial budgets, manage the performance of external consultants and contractors and work with the design teams to prepare project briefs, detailed specifications, drawings and procurement documents.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this position, you will be able to meet targets within time and budget whilst upholding the high standards set over the firm's 50 years in the industry. This role will be based out of the Belfast office with some travel required each week to fulfil the needs of the project. Furthermore, you will also have previous Project Management experience on large scale multi-million pound commercial projects. It is required that you have suitable experience as a Project Manager working on large scale projects. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR Site Supervisor Card, CSCS, or SMSTS training certificate.
