***Construction Planner Vacancy - Full-time & Permanent Position - Fit Out***

Your new company

An established, world class luxury fit out company with a Belfast based office require a skilled Construction Planner with either Building or Fit Out experience. Your new employer has been operating at the forefront of Fit Out projects for 40+ years and have built up a prestigious portfolio of clients that operate globally across several industries including Commercial, Retail, Leisure and Education sectors. As Planner, you will be exposed to multiple high value projects from inception to completion and benefit from an attractive company package. Minimal UK travel will be required.

Your new role

Reporting to the Planning Manager, your new role will support the company by identifying, controlling and forecasting timescales and resource requirements whilst implementing best practice, project planning and full life cycle of projects from tender through to completion. You will be responsible for accurately identifying and resourcing requirements for projects as well as realistic timeframes for completion. You will provide support for all planning functions ensuring that issues or irregularities within the programme are highlighted and understood by all.

What you'll need to succeed

This is a permanent vacancy with one of Northern Ireland's leading Fit Out Contractors who have placed a very high importance on this role. Previous experience of working in a construction planning role will be required, ideally within Fit Out or Building and you will be required to have a strong understanding of Asta Powerproject or Microsoft packages.
You should have a good level of understanding of commercial forms of contract and the ability to produce monthly reports as well as programme amendments.
Experience in carrying out planning duties in line with common forms of construction including NEC, ECC and JCT will be favourable.
A very limited amount of UK travel will be required (2 to 3 days per month) and generally you will be home on the same day you depart.
