Maintenance Officer required on a temporary contract basis by a Housing Association based in Belfast

Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a Housing Association based in Belfast, to recruit a Maintenance Officer on a temporary contract basis. This role will run for an initial period of 2-3 months with the possibility of extension.

Your new role
Working within the existing team you will assist in ensuring the upkeep of the Associations stock, including:

Pre and post inspections;
Issuing work orders;
Liaising with contractors to ensure problems are dealt with quickly and effectively;
Monitoring the progress of repairs, ensuring that they are managed within cost.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess experience across the following areas:

Response maintenance;
Planned maintenance;
Pre and post inspections;
SDM Housing software;
Statutory compliance.

What you'll get in return
This position offers an immediate start with weekly payment via BACS transfer. The client may have some flexibility around hours per week (part-time / full-time) dependent on the individual.
