Land & Regeneration Officer required on an ongoing temporary contract basis to join the Place Shaping team

Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, to recruit a Land & Regeneration Officer on an ongoing temporary contract basis.

Your new role
Working alongside the Place Shaping management team, you will contribute to the delivery of the Land and Regeneration Units business objectives to build sustainable communities through effective land & property management. This will ensure the availability of land to enable the building of affordable homes.

Your main duties will include:

Manage land disposal applications incorporating economic appraisal, supervision of title reports and conveyancing of leasehold / freehold disposals;
Manage the house sales process including quality assuring of offers and management of the post-sale process; Manage vesting and compensation applications;
Manage extinguishment applications;
Ensure the Land Terrier Management System is effectively utilised and maintained to record land assets; Ensure the use and disposal of land asset supports implementation of area-based place shaping;
Liaise with local stakeholders to ensure holistic delivery of housing-led regeneration programmes;
Produce regular reports and briefings on Land and Regeneration programmes.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you must possess a degree or equivalent qualification plus two year's relevant experience as outlined above.
