A leading social housing maintenance specialist are currently looking for Joiners to become part of their Belfast based trades team. With long-term workload on offer and a van provided, this could be the stable, secure position you've been looking for. Applicants should note that upon completion of a 2 month trial period, you'll gain a full time / direct position (performance depending).
Your new role
You'll be based on this organisation's social housing contract, responsible for the 2nd fix joinery / carpentry elements of Change of Tenancy / Response / Planned maintenance contracts. Working on a mobile basis, you will move methodically through a set 'patch', completing job sheets electronically allocated to you via the company's PDA system (handheld tablet). You will be responsible for managing materials / dealing with other tradesmen and handling tenants in a respectful, professional manner.
What you'll need to succeed
An NVQ Level 2/3 in your trade, full UK Driving licence & CSR card are essential for this role. You should have handtools and be willing to work a 40 hour minimum contract (paid weekly), with the option of being placed onto this organisations' call out rota to boost your income.
