This is a fantastic opportunity to join a UK wide multi utility contractor on a structured and industry leading graduate scheme based in Northern Ireland. The company is a industry leading provider of infrastructure and engineering services to the UK utilities, communications and rail sectors. They provide a vast array of services throughout the UK. They have a requirement for a graduate in a construction, civils or a mechanical related degree to take a position on their 3-year Graduate scheme.
Your new role
As a Graduate Planner you will be based on many sites throughout Northern Ireland. As a graduate planner, you will be tasked with supervisory duties including overseeing labourers and looking after clients. This role will involve a degree of setting out and taking levels as well as managing health & safety, record keeping and supervising groundworks. This is a role suited to a candidate who is committed to a long-term career within civil engineering works and is keen to benefit from ongoing training and development opportunities with the view to progressing in to management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree or about to graduate in construction or civil engineering. You will have a keen interest in construction and engineering to grow. A UK driving licence is needed.
